Welcome To Shipthis

Navigating Shipthis Platform

Shipthis is a user-friendly freight forwarding software designed exclusively for freight forwarders across the world. We offer foolproof methods for freight organizations to manage their customers, quotations, shipments and accounting effortlessly.

This user guide is designed to help you understand the Shipthis software and its various features.

Getting to know Shipthis

SHIPMENTS

A go-to module for all things related to your Shipments, from reports to shipments quotes and all kinds of freight.

  • Dashboard - Gives an overview of your organization’s shipment counts as per selected periods; tabular view of shipments statuses filtered based on operation persons or customers.

  • Reports - Provides accurate and handy shipment reports for various shipment needs - Ground freight reports, All tasks (Pending, due, completed), Active shipments, Customer reports to name a few.

  • Accepted Quotes - Displays all accepted quotes pending for job creation and also allows you to create new ones.

  • My Shipments - Displays all of your user-specific active shipments along with their current statuses. It also lets you edit your shipment’s information for any changes.

  • All Shipments - Displays all of your shipments across the organization. It allows you to edit your freight data like address, transit, customer details to name a few.

  • Air - Shows all air shipments currently running in your organization. Lets you add new records and filters using the Add and Save filter option for easier accessibility.

  • Sea - Shows all Sea shipments currently running in your organization. Lets you add new records and filters using the Add and Save filter option for easier accessibility.

  • Land - Shows all land shipments currently running in your organization. Lets you add new records and filter using the Add and Save filter option for easier accessibility.

  • Documentation - Displays the existing documentation jobs related to your shipments. It also allows you to add new jobs to the list.

CUSTOMER

  • Dashboard - Provides an overview of customers who exceeded their set credit limit as well as segregates customers based on their performances.

  • All Customer - Displays all your existing customers part of your company. You can also add new customers, view or edit a specific customer’s record.

  • Reports - You can generate and export reports in one click by selecting the customer-related reports - Performance-based reports, Shipments by Customer report, or the Invoice/Payment report for selected customers.

VENDORS

Displays the vendors or agents that are currently involved in your company. This feature also lets you add new vendors, export this data, import or edit the existing vendor data.

SETUP

The Setup component can be used to quickly set up your shipment ports or airports, categorize containers, package types, etc.

  • Port/Airport - This section allows you to add new ports or airports that are part of your shipments and also edit the existing ones.

  • Categories - You can categorize your shipments for easier access by including them in one of these categories - Container, Package, Document, or Vehicle types.

  • Shipping - This module further lets you add other shipping details for reference like shipment terms, lines, vessels, and airlines related to your shipments.

ACCOUNTING

  • Dashboard - Displays a glimpse of your pending approvals and aging AR/AP summaries.

  • Banking - This allows you to add your bank account to ShipThis ERP. Once added, you can easily manage your bank statements and transactions.

  • Reports - Here, you quickly extract various accounting-related reports like Sales done, payments, invoicing, profits made to name a few.

  • Chart of Account - Lets you add and edit your banking assets like current, fixed, taxations or other custom asset types.

  • Receivable - You can add new receivables like invoices, customer payments, credit notes in ShipThis, thus allowing easier tracking.

  • Payable - You can add new payables of your organization like various expenses, costing, vendor payments and debit notes.

  • Settings - Lets you add, edit and manage the currencies used, payment terms, journal entries, tax rates, etc.

SALES

The Sales module can be used to gain a brief overview of the sales done by your company over a period of time.

  • Dashboard - Displays a graphical representation of the total sales done as per the selected period - Yearly, Monthly, Quarterly, Weekly or Daily.

  • Reports - Provides Sales reports available to extract based on customer types, salespeople, profits, etc.

QUOTATION

Using this Quotation component of Shipthis you can manage all of your customer quotes in one place for a quicker reference.

  • Dashboard - Displays your customers’ open quotes, lost quotes, sent quotes and the count of quotations accepted pending for job creation. It also lets you add new ones to the list.

  • All Quotations - Shows an entire list of your organization’s quote requests and responses.

  • Quote Tariff Sheet (Group) - Lets you add quotes groups for each of your customers.

  • Reports - Provides major quote-related reports avaialble to extract based on quote statistics, quotations by sales persons or customers.

  • Other - Lets you add website quotes for customers or salespeople and also add rate managers.

TARIFF & RATE

Manage all the freight charges and rate cards using this feature.

  • Freight Rate Manager - In this section, you can add and manage Sea Shipment FCL/LCL charges and the air freight charges.

  • Port or Local Rate Manager - Lets you add and manage local Sea Shipment FCL/LCL charges and local air or port freight charges.

  • Transport Rate Manager - This allows you to add and edit cartage charges incurred while shipping.

  • Settings - You can manage your charge manager configurations here.

SETTINGS

Through Settings, you can perform a complete setup of your organization into Shipthis. Set up users, related info, user roles and many more.

  • Organization - Lets you set up your organization’s preferences and logos, add new regions and change the background on Shipthis UI.

  • Users - Lets you manage your entire list of employees and their basic info here.

  • Roles - Displays and lets you manage your employees’ organizational roles, their permissions and visibilities.

  • Customize - In this section, you can add your custom fields and preferences in various other pages on Shipthis like Bill/receipts, vendor page, Invoice pages and many more.

  • Workflow - Lets you set up your organizational workflows related to sea shipments, payments, credits, etc. You can also add tasks, events and other action items under each of your workflows.

  • Email Log - Shows the records of emails sent from your organization.

  • Add-ons - Displays the integrations and add-ons enabled in your system and allows additions of new add-ons too.

  • Billing - Shows an overview of your billing accounts and payment methods within the organization.
